at-risk prevention for youth

The Alternative Programs, Inc. has launched its At-Risk Prevention Program for Youth! After decades of serving young men and women who have been adjudicated and under Florida DJJ control, TAP is now accepting at-risk youth who are not under control of the State, as well as their immediate family members, to install preventative programming in an effort to avert criminal activity.

The at-risk prevention program will provide guidance that's aimed at preempting criminal activity through the youth's ability to identify and control their paradigm.  The curriculum includes periodic field trips and special guest speakers who are committed to mentoring the youth on a long-term basis.  Students may be enrolled, with custodial parental permission, by the Miami-Dade Juvenile Courts, Miami-Dade Juvenile Services Department, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, other affiliates and/or partners of the Miami-Dade Criminal Justice system, by civil citation or by a custodial parent experiencing behavioral challenges from their child.

Ages 11-17. For more information, please email ICC Director, Mr. Jeffrey Murray at: jmurray@tapflorida.org
