SCHOOLS-COMMUNITY LIAISON

Job Description:

SCHOOL-COMMUNITY LIAISON

$16.00 p/hr. + mileage and health insurance stipend

Part-time, 16 hours per week


 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist school staff and youth with attendance and other school related problems and activities, and to act as a community advocate, performing as liaison among student(s), parents, school, community and social service agencies.
  • Employees in this classification receive limited direct supervision within a framework of standard policies and procedures.
  • Providing a communication link between assigned schools, teachers, students, parents and community organizations regarding established or available procedures, standards, programs, services, and activities.

Requirements:

  • Must meet employer dress code.
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must have driver's license Operator Class E.
  • Must-have ability for Microsoft 365.
  • Must have six months of experience.
  • Due to nature of job, must speak, read, and write English. Bilingual welcomed.
  • This job class requires knowledge of and familiarity with the community, its resources and its residents & stakeholders.
  • Must meet employer dress code.
