CLIENT SERVICES SPECIALIST

Job Description

ATI CLIENT SERVICES SPECIALIST

$15.00 per hour

Full-time, 32 hours per week


NATURE OF WORK

This is a responsible position providing direct services to clients of The Alternative Programs, Inc.

through first contact interaction with clients and potential clients who come to the office.  The employee in this class will be responsible for meeting and greeting all visitors of the program which includes extensive use of the telephone. Primarily, this person will work independently, but will be periodically monitored for courteousness, effectiveness and efficiency by the Office Manager who is the supervisor for this position.


KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS

Ability to meet and greet clients and the general public in a professional manner;

Ability to be tactful and to display use of good judgement;

Ability to professionally answer the telephone and accurately deal with caller inquiries;

Knowledge of general office practices and procedures;

Working knowledge of computers and computer software programs;

Ability to understand and execute moderately complex oral and written instructions;

Ability to accurately input data into the Agency’s data base.


DESIRABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent. General clerical experience to include skills in computer software applications.  Bi-lingual preferred but not required.
